I’m a user and big fan of the Headway Premium WordPress theme. This blog is made with Headway. I’ve been wanting to do a review of it and so I challenged myself to customise the default Headway style into a business website – all in 10 minutes. Check the video out and let me know [...]
I find it irritating when I log in and see status updates from apps that my friends are using. If you feel the same, here’s how you can hide these updates without blocking your friends.
Yours truly was a panelist on The Digital Edge Podcast (Episode 26). We talked iPads (I’m bullish), PM Najib Razak’s social media strategy (decide if you want to be in or out) & Maxis’ 1Store mobile app store (what a half-assed effort).
Before you say anything, yes I know I wasn’t looking directly into the camera. I was looking at the preview, which was just to the left of the lens and didn’t think it would be so obvious. Besides that, I would love any more feedback you may have about the review.

2010 kicked off with a very interesting high-stakes drama unfolding between Google and China. The situation has now blown up and got the US government involved. Yesterday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made a speech on Internet Freedom which basically outlined a new foreign policy for USA and extended it to the internet.
In a nutshell, the [...]

If you’re in the social media business you’d definitely want to be like Chris Brogan. He’s like the father of social media marketing. He wrote a book on it. His blog has got more readers than I’ll ever have. In short, he’s a rockstar.
Lots of people would love to trade places with Chris, but not me. [...]
I’ve been pretty blessed in 2009 because I won quite a boatload of stuff. I don’t consider myself very lucky, but check out the haul I got this year:
1. Free photo shoot from Raw Pixel Studios from Twestival lucky draw. We used this for a recent maternity shoot, photos will be up soon.
2. DiGi Pimp [...]
If you know me well at all, you’ll know that I’m pretty scatter-brained and constantly forgetting important details. Well, I blew it again and didn’t manage to send any Christmas cards out this year. Therefore, here’s my lame greeting to all my friends and family. (I’ll try to do better next year).
Merry Christmas everyone! Normal [...]
I figured I should really start doing yearly summaries since I blog irregularly. Hence, I present to you David Wang’s year in review, 2009 edition.

I started off 2009 as the Web Analytics and Social Media Manager for AGENDA. We had moved to our new office in Solaris Mont Kiara and my commute had grown longer. [...]
I stumbled upon FreelanceShow recently, which has quickly become my new favorite freelancing resource. In addition to great podcasts, they are now running a contest with over $4,800 in prizes from awesome sponsors like CampaignMonitor, 37Signals, FreshBooks, and CulturedCode! How did he get these fantastic sponsors??
To participate, you need to tell Neil (the editor of [...]

Check out this awesome pic of Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick. Usually bloggers wouldn’t be able to use such high quality images beause of licensing issues, but new service PicApp changes that. PicApp has worked out licensing with premium image providers like Corbis, Getty Images, etc to give bloggers access to these images for free. [...]
