I’ve been using WireTap Studio to record the #LOLshow podcasts because I wanted to be able to record myself and Skype into separate tracks. This tutorial shows a great (free) alternative, plus GarageBand provides lots more editing options than WireTap Studio.

Two podcasters on my Podroll, Scott Sigler and J.C. Hutchins, have been interviewed by the New York Times (registration may be required) about podcasting. I love it that Scott records his podcasts in the closet.

â€œA lot of no-name authors like me are getting massive grass-roots exposure, and some of us are going to percolate to the top and get on the best-seller list,â€? Mr. Sigler said.
